Friction hitch based work positioning lanyard system offering a range of solutions for movement and changing position. This CE certified fall protection system in 11.8mm diameter, and a choice of seven lengths.

An additional use is as an anchor assembly for rescue for up to two person loads.

The bespoke rope and hitch cordage has been tailored to interact perfectly for exceptional reliability, performance and durability; especially when paired with DMM hardware.

The Nomad+ is a complete system of eye to eye lanyards with a colour matched Locksafe Ultra O and Director Yoke connector, Triple Attachment Pulley 2 (TAP 2), with a Fidus 8.5mm eye to eye and a Fidus 6.5mm thimble loop.

All parts are replaceable for greater lifespan.

• Bright rope colour with hitch cords and colour coded hardware for easy identification in complex environments; enhancing safety by helping avoid any confusion with main line or a second lanyard.
• A range of lanyard lengths (3m, 4m, 5m, 7m, 10m, 15m and 20m) to suit the working environment and your climbing style.
• Lower 11.8mm diameter for weight saving and use in the warm and dry.
• Market proven 24 strand count polyester cover double braid rope with a nylon core. Easy to grip and good abrasion resistance.
• The Fidus hitch cords have a polyester core and sheath, offering exceptional and consistent performance over an extended lifespan, even in harsh high UV environments.
• The hitch cordage has been designed to interact smoothly, consistently and reliably in a wide range of conditions.
• DMM TAP 2 to advance the friction hitch early and minimal sit-back. Three holes allow for additional configurations in complex work positioning.
• Paired with DMM Ultra O for correct compatibility between pulley, friction hitch and connection to the harness.
• Nomad+ has a DMM Director Yoke connector with a rope spacer for extremely short connection length at the termination and ensuring correct orientation. Removeable for maintenance away from the rope.
• Comes with DMM Fidus 6.5mm Loop, allowing a range of additional configurations and positioning methods. The laminate tab ensures the knot remains correctly set and does not unintentionally move when not in use.
• Short and strong stitch patterns in sewn eye terminations.
• All Nomad lanyard systems are certified to EN358:2018, EN795B:2012. Not to be used for fall arrest.
• All Nomad Lanyard systems are certified as an anchor assembly for two-person rescue loads (PD CEN/TS 16415:2013).

Certified in a wide range of configurations:

• Doubled, with two points of attachment on harness – Side D to Side D (excluding suspension)/Forward D to Forward D (including suspension).
• Doubled, with one point of attachment on harness (e.g. bridge/ventral attachment) and the termination connector attached to TAP 2.
• Restraint when connected to a harness/belt attachment point(s) approved for restraint.
• Single, using thimble hitch. Significantly increases the working length of the lanyard and reduces clutter close to the harness.
• Attach further fall protection systems for more work positioning options using additional holes in TAP 2.
• Two doubled configurations using a single lanyard for two points of connection to the structure.
• End to end lanyard connection using full length.
• Rescue, using the lanyard as an anchor assembly.
• Certified with three friction hitches (Distel 5+1, Schwabisch 5+1, VT 5+2) tied using the same length Fidus 8.5mm eye to eye.
